possible attempted theft?? what u think?

fitted my girlfriend a remote start pager alarm for christmas...


the antenna is stuck to the front windscreen. she phones me up tonight saying the alarms not working however there is a wet sponge ontop of the sensor (outside the car) that someone has placed!


you think someone could be being clever?

sorry i forgot to mention its a pager alarm...

she didnt get any signal or warning that the alarm had also gone off until she got too the car!

Does seem odd to have a wet sponge left on the car...that would obviously do the job if someone knew it was a remote pager.
