Hollinger sequential for sale, cheap

If only I had that kind of cash Chris.

Sounds like a great box, but aren't full conversions being done around the £3k mark all in so this may be a little pricey?

Also, it states that it can take "over 450bhp" but don't the standard 6 speeds take that and the rest anyway? Can't seen any other major benefits except the weight.

What are the benefits of such a box in your eyes mate? If people are willing to pay £5k they'd want to know.

Nice, would be great for track, dont they wine a little though :D

I am unsure of their drinking habits ;) but for sure they aren't built for the road and can be noisy. Interchangeable ratios, sequential change (although that's a bit overateted, IMO), and low transmission losses make it a great box with a good pedigree. Just cos the six speed Getrag will survive extra torque doesn't mean it was designed for it, and their ludicrous gear ratios for out and out performance usage make them a big compromise. I would have bought it for my Skyline projects, but have gone a different and hopefully cheaper route.

I am sure Martin Hadland has put one of these in his newly built Cosworth.

His old car used to do have a thrombo after a few hard launches. So I believe when he did the spec. for his new build, a Skyline Hollinger was one of the first things on his list.

I cant wait to see his new car in action..

Yep I have seen some of his dyno runs, he's making something like 70hp more using about 7 psi less. Or something to those extents. Making more power using less boost right across the gears. I believe he has used some real trick bits for his new engine.

I'll try and dig them out.
