Sheefa
What a perfect stock car to begin work (if wanted) from scratch on. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-Toyota-Supra-3-0-Twin-Turbo-Auto-Coupe_W0QQitemZ170063519965QQihZ007QQcategoryZ18290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Completely stock it seems and very, very low mileage. Would of loved to have seen this 6 months ago!
jamesmark
Are the wheels after market, and does not have facelift lights on the front and rear, just I thought 1997 was faclift? they maybe an option though so I maybe incorrect. baz78
Looks mint, priced not to match.
CJ
There are several inconsistencies in the advert. They list it as a 1997 car and yet further down say it was manufactured in 1996. They call it an auto in the beginning, then change that to manual - then back to auto again in the pics. As a 1996 car, the preferred option would be facelift - this obviously isn't. Henk
Yep, spotted this one some weeks ago before joining the forum but I decided to buy a different 1996 with Alloys & Veilside instead from another dealer.
Sheefa
Good points CJ and Jamesmark - something a little fishy you think or just accidental inconsistencies?
CJ
Good points CJ and Jamesmark - something a little fishy you think or just accidental inconsistencies? Lets give them the benefit of the doubt and call it a probable lack of knowledge of the marque
Sheefa
Indeed. They seem to have quite a few supes in stock, so I'm sure they're genuine reputable sellers, not quite as good as your self though CJ (waits for CJ to drop the price of a 96 Black Manual TT just for Greg
carl0s
hmm well, it's a pre-facelift tt auto. The only unusual thing is the mileage and we all know mileage means nothing at this age so.. As others have said I would want facelift for any TT auto anywhere near that price. In fact I'd want a VVTi for that money. and then some. Gaz Walker
Seen a few better than that before, priced cheaper too
Sheefa
True I suppose. Still one of the smartest stocks I've seen, apart from that one Jurgen has just posted.! I hate looking back and thinking "Shit, if only I had gone to Jurgen, CJ, and so and so" etc. I bought my bloody Auto 93 TT for £8 and have spent £4k since - quite a few mods already but I could of probably gone small single by now or full BPU for amount of spent with great reliability! Maybe next time when I get my 1997 Black Manual beast.

Mines a 97 facelift, yet the V5 says that it was first registered in 2002, i.e. the year it was first registered in the UK. They state that this car was imported 12 months after being produced, that would be somewhere in 1997. So I think that they are pretty much spot on with the age, just not the Auto Manual thing, oh and the price....
