right i have taken my aftermarket stereo out and now want to replace the origional unit, the previous owner had tapped into the cars loom to run an aftermarket look however had left the origional plug intact...
now if i plug the plug into the stereo nothing happens....
all wires look intact, although they do not match the color scheme on the doc available on the site,
my plug has a black with red stripe a pink with blue stripe a purple and a green,
from what i can tell the green is an earth....
the pink with blue stripe is aa switched live, there is also a light green which is permanent live however there is no place on the plug for it to be wired into...
i just wondered if anyone had a diagram of wires/colors for the stereo side of the loom and not the amp side?

Which aftermarket you unit did you have, most should follow the iso colour scheme.. Can't remember off the top of my head what the wires are for..
