Rear view cameras

I've just come back to the forum, and having a look around some of the posts since I've been gone - I took a look at this one on the rear cameras:

Has anyone considered using a colour/IR night vision camera and putting IR LEDs in the stud mounts of their rear number plate to illuminate things behind you at night?

Reason I ask is I've only had time to scan through a few posts and I don't know if any of you guys just know the answer.

Looking forward to getting another Supra next year methinks. :D

Thats interesting, i couldn't find anything when searching, been looking at doing this myself just for safer parking as i can't see a lot out of my tinted windows especially at night:( but i don't really want to spend loads on an all singing dancing head unit, as i doubt i would watch DVD.
