sdavies Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 I think most that go this route remove the space saver spare wheel and extend it into the space that it takes. Custom installations can include some remodelled MDF fabrications. Mike M Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 I've recently fitted an MDF sheet in the shape of the boot floor and removed the spacesaver. This allowed me to hide a 12" sub under the boot carpet. Ok it's not sealed in an enclosure but I never wanted any sound off just more bass and it works fine for me while looking stock. I beg to differ, I have managed to fit an experimental typhoon class soviet fast attack sub and full complement of crew into my glove compartment!!!
