engine check light

under moderate or hard braking the center warning light (the big red light on the RPM meter) and sometimes the engine check light comes on. The lights just stay of for a couple of seconds and switch off. Is there something wrong or probably just a loose connector pin???

Check your brake fluid level, top it up if not completely full.
Else check for stored error codes.
