Hi fellas, I had my new wheels and new Teins fitted last week and to be honest still not sure if its been set to lower height as I wanted?!!
I can see other cars with the same set up (18's wheels and SS teins) that sit very nicely but as you can see from the pic my car still up in the air!!!
any idea how to check the height level and how much SS teins usually drop the car from standard height?

cheers guys

This is the adjustment range of the Tein Super Streets compared to stock.

Rr:-45 to +8mm

Looks about right to me, if you lower it more your going to have problems with inclines and speed bumps, mine sits about the same on aftermarket springs and shocks, and i have trouble.

Rear looks ok to me. I'd drop the front by 5mm if i where you. Jack the car up on the chassis, then using the supplied c-spanners, loosen the spring collars and lower them 5mm and retighten.
My teins hardly moved at all after they where fitted, so you shouldn't have to readjust them again.

looks about right to me too - I asked for mine to be set as low as possible when they first went on, but had to wind it back up a fair way after only a few days - it was a nightmare on bumpy roads!

If anything Mas the rear looks a little low, having the rear too low will mean there is not enough suspension travel to keep the rears gripping when accelarating hard.

:iagree: I got told traction becomes a problem when the back is too low

Your rear looks a tad low, putting more focus on the front. You could go down another 5mm but its the back thats got to come up imo.

Thanks guys, Im kinda happy with the rear TBH as it doesnt rub even though I have 285's (didnt need to roll/shave arches either)just not too sure about the front sticking too high like that which I think looks ugly really. will get them checked again in weekend.

thanks to all once again

I'd say it's way too low at the back and could do with a bit more height on the front too. But I set up for handling and traction, not looks... :)

Basically these are the maximum drop and maximum height the coilovers can be adjusted compared to stock ride heights.

ie.

Front can be lowered -45mm, or raised +34mm compared to stock ride height.

Rears can be lowered -45mm, or raised +8mm compared to stock ride height.

Ok I do as both of you guys said then, will raise the back abit more and try to forget about the ugly looking front ;) :(

thanks guys
