5 dead now in 10 days.
Hope they get this sicko'(s) soon and hang him/her/them.
They will catch him, he is a serial killer and he is doing it consistently, as such he will want to be caught.
Fcukin sickos, they should behead them when they catch them
I seriously think they should bring back capital punishment and use it when there is proof beyond resonable doubt.
Look at the case with the two C**t's that killed that Lawyer when they tried to mug him (a few months back), they should both been hunged, instead, they'll probably be released in 10 years or so on good behaviour.

And that bloke who raped the 13yrd old, would have saved a hell of a lot of money.... could have gone to something more useful like police resources..
Hmmm 5 Pro's
Jack the Ripper killed 5 too....
But then the first girl at least was heavily involved in Heroin, so maybe drugs will be the link....

5 dead but did i hear another two girls missing?
5 dead but did i hear another two girls missing?
The two bodies found are assumed to be that of the missing two girls, making it a total of 5.
The first girls had been missing for months...it's now that people are actively looking that the bodies are turning up...
I think the perp is going to prove hard to catch....IF he's unconnected to the girls and is just targeting pro's.
It's odd, given the rate he's killing at the moment (presuming this is the work of one person and that it's a chap) and my knowledge of other killers it almost points to there being a lot more dead over a longer period. Killers like this tend to start slowly and then end up in a frenzy like this a lot later on.
I suspect someone has been handing out Yorkshire Ripper books to the press given some of the clichéd stuff they are spouting. I'm finding it all quite interesting to follow but the juicy stuff doesn't tend to come out until long after the person / people responsible are caught.
The police will be waiting for them to get sloppy... it could be a while until this happens....
They'll have a serialised version on Chnl5 before Christmas!

I think he's probably taken 1 a week...but has a "base" and then dumps them at his convenience...he knew the girls wouldn't be reported missing / cared about...

I think you and Michael know far too much..:innocent:
I've said too much :innocent:

It's just a subject I find really interesting not something I intend to take up as a hobby :)
Now all you need is sheefa with his body clean up team...
Thing that gets me is the double-life the killer is leading. Serial killers (usually) have family / friends / collegues, yet seem to be able to carry on with that side of their life without those around him suspecting a thing. Hopefully, as the victims are so concentrated around a fairly small area, he / she will be caught quicker than others before them. Trouble is the speed hes going at. Unbelievable.

its strange that none of the girls seemed sexualy abused and no clothes have been found.
My guess is, its a religious extremist trying to purify the world starting at Ipswich (Good place to start if you ask me)
my sister has just moved to Copdock, along the same round that the 2nd girl was found (about 5 min walk from the river), shes not a happy bunny at the moment, quite scared.
(Good place to start if you ask me)
Wasn't Ipswich / Suffolk one of the safest places to live in the country?

I bet mate :( Thats not good
the 3 girls that turned up are just minutes from my front door, and in fact the girl in nacton is about 20 yards from the road that i drive on to work (can see the forensic tent through the trees)and back in the mornings ... pretty sobering thought that I have driven past her body for the last few days or more and not noticed it.
wisdom here is that its a foriegn lorry driver ... as all the bodys on on the route fomr felixstowe.

I thought that, maybe it's a brief flurry and then he's gone for years. TV news mentioned poisoning, how would you poison a streetwalker? Do they accept offers back to a flat?
(like anyone's going to say "Oh yes, I do that all the time)

Maybe once not any more it would seem. There was also a fatal shooting here on Saturday night too :(
Hopefully this will attract a few locals posting this here.
I play for Ipswich Rugby club, and we are recruting new players.
If anyone would like to join or knows anyone that would be interested please let me know as we are short of hookers. :tumbleweed:
And so they start :(
On a more serious note, i hope they catch the fucker. Im having to resort to colchester to be seviced, and they are not nice there!
The scariest thing is it's usual for serial killers to start with an easy target like a lady of the night and then end up with a few 'normal' people.
Like Ewen said though, this person is leading a double life, there must be clues somewhere out there.
My wife said hes probably going to be buying Christmas presents for his kids this weekend. Scary thought.
I started reading a book about serial killers once, I couldn't finish it..
It's the mindset. They can quite happily cut someone into small pieces, and then meet a mate for a game of tennis afterwards like it's the most normal thing in the world.

well said, bring the old law back ;)
Back to Ipswich, am I the only one to wonder how come they have such an abundance of prostitutes?
Why do all these girls have to work the streets?
Why all this poverty, misery and social decay?

And these girls look half decent.
Some of the hookers we get in Leicester and Nottingham look like extras from Deliverance.
No gums, acne and bulging eyes. ALL signs or heroin.
Its all very sad.

Hardly anything new though, it is the oldest profession as they say! Unfortunately the common thought is that most of them do it for drug money - hence wherever you have drugs (everywhere), you'll have prostitutes.
Heard on the news last night that one of the girls found yesterday was interviewed last week about why she was still on the streets despite the warnings. :(

Police estimate that there are 30 of them on the streets, hardly an abundance in comparison to most other majoy towns and cities.
Do they have to work the streets or have they chosen to?
No idea where you are going with the poverty, misery and social decay so I'll leave that for you to ponder.
Ipswich is just like most other places in the UK, it just has a serial killer to add to it's features right now.
this "person" could be a woman serial killer  - err.... and how come the police can safely say non of the girls have been sexually abused  i mean they are hookers  prob seen more action in a day then i've had hot meals

Because if you think about it sexual assault is slightly different to your average sh*g.
Anyway, sorry if I'm repeating someone but these girls have been missing for a while so it's not just a recent thing, he could've been killing for months.

but how could anyone know it was a "he"? could just as well be a woman who's hubby was on the crawl

Yes yes you're right, it could be a woman. But the chances are slim to none.
A woman would be highly unlikely to leave the victims naked.

cover her tracks? make it seem like it was a man who carried it out? :innocent:
What was sad is the interview they did with one of the other girls still going out on the street (can't imagine there is a lot of business at the moment though) anyway, she said she'd got a phone and a brick in a bag adding "what esle am i supposed to do?"
Well, in the nicest possible way love, get off the drugs and stop giving handjobs for crack.
At first i thought it might be a pimp/drug thing the lack of sexual assault and to be fair the lack of marks or anything on the bodies isn't vey serial killer. The three that have been all over the papers were all herion addicts so it seemed like it could have been a rivalry thing.
If they are all in the same area though then it can't be long until this guy is caught. Sutcliffe used his lorry driver job to move around a bit at least.

Dont know a lot about this case, Press arn't getting the right facts I'm sure. but there are a lot of Russian/Eastern European mafia gangs now and wondered wether its English hookers that have been targeted!!!!
I'm shocked I thought all they did in Ipswich was milk cows!!!;)
Seriously though Im also shocked that their are still redlight areas in this day and age of the Internet, All very good looking girls too and like you say, its not all drug driven these days, some are forign students Brazilian, Eastern European and do it to pay course fees i guess (sad state of affairs but true)
Their parents prob have absolutely no idea their daughters are on the game, so will be a shock to find out that A they are on the game and B. have been murdered..but in my opinion no less a human being than anyone else..I hope they catch the killer as quick as poss...very sad:(

Is it? Must be my technique that's putting them off seconds then.

Welcome to the real world!
Can't remember the exact year, (must have been early 90's) but I was working in the Police in Norwich (not too far up the road from Ipswich) on the day when Natalie Pearman (local prostitute) was murdered. Although she was only left partially stripped, there were similarities in that there was no serious attempt to hide the body and she had been left in a semi-rural location not far off a main trunk road. It was thought that she had been killed at another location and taken to where she was found in the boot of a car and dumped there.
I had to arrest a number of people who she had been with (not a clients, more associates) in the previous 24 hours. I also spent alot of time interviewing other prostitutes and taking statements in the days that followed.
What I found then was that a lot of these girls are on the game because their 'boyfriends' put them there. So many of them meet a guy who they start going out with. He gets them some drugs for 'recreational' use and once they're an addict they get told they have to earn their next fix - on the street. And if they don't comply the can end up getting a horrendous beating - then if they're covered in bruises they can't earn money anyway. They soon develop the fear and start doing what their told. Nice way to live.
But it's only the girls who have managed to extracate themselves from this sort of existence that will actually say this sort of stuff. Those that are still on the block are far too scared of the consequences of being found out, so they'll tell the media etc. that they have to earn the money for their kids etc.
Sorry, but it's got little to do with poverty in the local area etc. As with most stuff like this it's about someones greed.
Not many girls go into prostitution as a career choice.

Like I said before, Its all very sad :(
Wish one day we would hear of a murderer that is targeting the pimps and drug pushers for a change!
I reckon it's a punter who has caught a dose of something very nasty/fatal and is now taking revenge.
And so the texts start rolling in.......
What's the difference between Mr Kipling and The River Ripper?
- Mr Kipling can put 6 tarts in a box.
Ipswich Town FC have had to cancel their football match this Saturday. A dyslexic Serial Killer has murdered all their substitutes.
:hide: Don't shoot the messenger! :)
The River Ripper?
I thought it was "The Suffolk Strangler"?
I wonder how many they'll get? The Yorkshire ripper got 13 I think - but that was over two years.

We live in fast times mate :D

You will find out that students will NOT work on street - those girls use internet and phone and usually meeting in their own house/flat.
Soop Dogg nailed it on the head. The drugs are used as a method of control. Addiction is a very hard thing to fight, and addiction is loosely defined as doing something that you know is harmful but being unable to stop. Once hooked, pimps know that their 'flock' so to speak will keep coming back for their next fix, and bringing in the money. ho hum.....
Wanted:
Hookers to work in the Ipswich. Pay is good but the hours are murder
Sorry :( got that on the text today - doesnt take long does it!
Over 9 years mate.
I've got a crap memory. I'm sure I've just read something different in the Sun (down the pub, I don't buy it!) again.
13 women killed, 7 attacked - first murder Wilma McCann, Oct '75, last one Jacqueline Hill, Nov '80.
First known actual attack was July '75, last attack (the one where they caught him) Jan '81. He was stopped in the 60's wandering the Bradford red light district with a hammer, they decided he was a potential burglar... makes you think doesn't it :(
Ah, just to correct you, he was found with a "tom" about to do the business and arrested for kerb-crawling and taken back to the nick. The arresting Sergeant had a strange hunch and went back to the site of the arrest where he found the ball-pein hammer and screwdriver.
Sutcliffe turned Queens when confronted with this new evidence.

What are you correcting me on?
You are describing his last attack when he finally got caught, I was discussing his earlier arrests in the late 60s before he started the killings.
Was watching it on Sky News last night all very scary. :(
As an aside did anyone see the Comedy awards 'aftershow' thing on ITV2?
They did a couple more awards and Oliver Stone presented one.
He came on and said something along the lines of 'It's great to be back in the UK, it's a lot similar to the Ripper days' - OMG it went down like an absolute led balloon, I've never seen such cringe worthy tv in my life!
