Boost controller... which one??

Ok....

More or less BPU now (just to fit a bit or too), but with this weather and greasy roads I can't really test it all out anyway!... lol.

My question is which EBC is good to get and reasonably cheap? I've read people saying that Jspec TT's don't really need a boost controller, but I've also read that you can adjust the gain (?) with one which results in faster spool up time? This sounds quite appealing! :)

Anyone got any reasonably priced recommendations that'll do the trick?

thanks

so any ebc will do? Do they all have an option to adjust the gain?

No they don't.

I'd recommend one of the following Blitz boost controllers. The SBC IDIII is one of the most popular choices for members, the i-color is a little more but is the best EBC available at the moment IMO.

You may also want to consider the brand new HKS EVC, which I've heard some good reviews of.

Jim let me know if you want any prices.

Yeah, I've seen those for about £200 right? Looks like a normal boost gauge? Can this be used to adjust gain??

Nic, PM me prices mate for what you all suggested if you don't mind?

Now i have been considering a BC as i have had to re attach one of my pipes relating to my TTC mod (long story:blink: ) due to the cold weather causing to high boost so now i am in the opposite position, now there are some really nice but expensive toys out there for accomplishing this, but in the end all a boost controller will do is to moderate the waste gate actuator cycling in order to keep the actuator closed as it approaches its set limit, now i have achieved this on other cars by using an adjustable actuator, i presume that this would not be possible on the sequential system as i have never heard anyone mention it?
