Jim_1979
Ok... I have a boost gauge which reads in psi. Everyone here when taking about boost pressure tends to talk in bar. Is there a convertor or something? Some way to work out what psi is in bar? thanks

wkdtime
Yanks talk in Pounds per square inch (Psi), Over here it's mostly Bar.
tbourner
For quick calcs in my head I usually multiply by 14. So for every 0.1 bar increase add 1.4psi.
wez_p
so 18psi is what I should be boosting in a BPU car? (1.2) ?... that's what I was wanting to know!.... 18 would take you to more like 1.25 so i guess 17.5 would be better as a max since 1.2 is known as the safe max? Or 17 to be sure had a look at mine last night on full chat down the motorway & it's boosting at 15psi so looks like i've got a little more to play with yet
Tricky-Ricky
Yanks talk in Pounds per square inch (Psi), Over here it's mostly Bar. Unless your an old git like me;) 1 bar = 14.50377 psi
