Hi sorry to ask a question that probably be covered before, but from reading previous I have not managed to get a clear answer. (it’s a bit like hearing snippets of similar conversations).
I am fitting a new head unit and cannot get the aerial to work (go up and down).
I have bought the proper ISO connector and have even managed to wire up my amplifier to it, but I can’t figure out why the aerial doesn’t work.
Following the blue and white wire on my iso connector (the remote wire) this is connected into both a pink/blue wire and a black/red wire on the cars original wiring. Although what I think is the same black/red wire is sticking out from what looks like the original loom slightly higher up and has a plug on it but I can’t find anywhere to plug this into? I suspect this to be the problem but have no idea where it should be plugged into and also does anyone else have any other ideas or thoughts on how to get this working.
Its particularly annoying as my reason for swapping head units is because the last one could only pick up Jap frequencies, although before I started the old head unit did make the aerial go up and down.
Any help greatly appreciated as I have spent several hours on this today.
Mike
