markjodrell
I have a jap radio/tape player and cd. Also tv and sat nav. the tv does tune in to the uk channels , just, but the picture is poor and crackles only for sound. Main prob is the cd player, put a gen cd in and it just spits them back out. Are they different in Japan or is mine just knacked. Its all Alpine kit any ideas before it gets ripped out ??? cheers

annan
UK cds should work fine in a jap spec sup- they certainly do on mine which has the oem cd player still in it. It plays cds fine which includes those burned off a computer. DVD sat nav disks though is a different story
blitz supra
Didn't think any of the JAP TV's or Sat Nav will work over here as they are not PAL , CD should be no probs at all, Radio just needs a expander although you still won't get all stations, If you can afford it upgrade to UK equipment
markjodrell
No, get a new one, get a new one, get a new one and get a new one. just about to rip the ce/radio tape out , thought one last go, put a cd in and it played , tried it again and again and it works brill.
