steb9780 Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 Does anyone know were I can get a positive battery terminal for the car, or one that will adapt to suit the section that the wires attach to. The ring that clamps the terminal snapped on mine before. The wires look like they have no extra in them to connect to a normal terminal. At the moment I have just got a cheapo terminal, that has the other section of the o/e terminal screwed to it. I had to purchase the larger positive connector to fit over the larger battery terminal. I bought it from Toyota and it cost from top of my head around £15. It fits to the existing lead which bolts together. The negative side can be snipped of & a new end added from anywhere like Halfords. I'll have to see if we still have a Toyota place in Preston. I know we used to have one on Blackpool road but that isn't there anymore. Will the UK spec one be the same as the J-spec one?? steb9780 Posted December 1, 2006 Author Share Posted December 1, 2006 Just been to CPC to get one. Was about a fiver with the TWAT. Has an 8mm screw terminal in the same place as the stock one.
