Hi,

See a few familiar names still posting :p Just stumbled onto here after reading a post that was linked from GTRforum about probs with traders, and saw my name mentioned in a post LOL.

Anyway....

I sold my MKIV about 3-4 years ago now. It was a lucerne silver TT RZ auto. Running 480bhp with the engine/turbos by Leon at JPS (are they still around?)

I sold that car..... spend a bit on a shite track car, bought a R33 GTS (wank), bought a mkII supra for a laugh, sold them both. Then bought a 98 Impreza Type R, 205 gti, R32 GTR, 911, Rnage Rover... crashed the track car, and reshelled it to....

I think pictures will be easier to understand ;)

My old supra

Was sold on, then again to someone in MK i think. Thats the last i heard of it :/

built this as a track car whilst still owning the supra

:) thats about that..

Anyway... i've also (well, we... my girlfriend and I) started a new forum 2 days ago. Nothing fancy, nothing busy.

http://www.phpbb88.com/trackscotland

This site has been set up (as the name suggests) for track enthusiasts within Scotland.

We hope to provide as much information as possible on track days being held in Scotland and further afield all under one roof.

We expect the site to start off slowly, particularly given the time of year, but hope it will pick up as the 2007 season starts.

In the meantime, let us know about your winter projects, planned mods for the new season, future track dates that you are organising.

Could you please make any suggestions on layouts and idea's. Any constructive crit will be listened to. The forum will be linked off a main website eventualy and given a proper URL in time. Everything is pretty much rough and ready just now... being a few days old.

Any input is much appreciated.

Mr Kindness! How the devil are you old chap? New corsa sounds fun, I still remember the threads on "weight saving" on the old one :D

I'm thinking the way forward may be a cheaper track car, tracking the supra gets too expensive... although if I could afford as many cars as you it wouldn't be an issue!

The new corsa would be fun if it was reliable :p keep knackering engines! 3 blocks used in about a year and a half. Grr.

Got through at least a couple on the old one didn't you? ;)

New skyline is fun on track... a bit tame, and boat like just now but it'll get better :)

You should sell it and buy a Supra instead! :D

Doh... busted :(

Jake - The typeR is a great car for weekends. A little too raw for me to enjoy everyday, but very good on B roads and goes like a rocket due to the short gearing. Girlfriend loves it and drives it daily to work. Its a 98 V4.

Ps.... Seems like everyone had Single turbo's on the supra's now going by your sigs :D

i remember when you was racing your supra.and the well stripped out corsa.thought you made a bad mistake with r33gts.the porsche 911 is my fave shape bit bland on interior and very dated.

good to see your project cars.if you a member here for 3 years you become a life member.

like the scooby.i once went out in a scooby version 5 type r i think it was called before i got a supra years ago.was rapid off the line and had a diff bias switch.the guy was giving it some stick but it kept jumping out of gear.looked great fun though.

The Impreza has the DCCD diff control, IC waterspray etc.... it is a fun wee car.

The 911.... its imaculate. No Rust, 25 years old, 70k miles, Full history. Has a car coon, and summer miles only :)

Monkey - The white corsa above is just the same corsa in a lighter shell still :p 'base model'.

Skyline looking good :D

It's £10 per year now (blah blah blah, in my day etc. ;)), but you can pay £30 for lifetime membership... So yes you'd need to cough up, unfortunately.
