I thought id buy some of these a few months back,.

lovely looking shiny metal dust caps for my tyre valves....

look nice,..

but a little while later a total ball ache to remove.

they had become siezed in place and putting air in my tyres become a major job,.

pliers wouldnt do it,..

i tried many options,. mole grips, spanners and allsorts -

this afternoon i powered up my dremel that has like a mini angle grinder attachment and cut the swines off.,

after weeks if not months i managed to get them off and i bought some nice black plastic ones ;)

i checked my tyre pressure and 2 tyres had 10lb of pressure :(

lucky i got them off when i did.

dont use the metal ones ;)

i actualy caught around 10 teenagers ( at various times ) over the summer crouching down next to my car to nick them.,

in the end i printed a big sign ( 12" x 18" ) saying....

"you are on camera"

and placed it in the back window resting on the back seat -

thing is if they would of got the air caps off they would of had to screw out the stems too as they were on so tight.
