I wouldn't put any solvents onto plastic. I recon something that removes paint is not going to be very friendly to you plastic lenses (white spirit). WD40 is very good at removing sticky residue left from labels and stickers, tree sap, tar etc. Needs a bit of elbow grease mind.

T-cut if fine to use also. I can vouch for that

Don't ask me how or why but I may need to remove glue gunk and sticky residue from the outside of my lights.

Whats best for plastic lights:

- white spirit

- thinners

- turps

thanks :)

Noooooooo.... step away from the thinners

t-cut is too harsh i find, it's ok if you're brinning up a set of dull lights, but yours are perfect.

just wash them with soapy water then when it's dry just use some auto glyn resin pollish (red label)

this will give it a coating and will keep them clean for ages :)

Edit: just re read your thread, i have some stuff here for cleaning without screwing up plastic.

i think i still have your address, i'll send you some :)
