View Full Version : Nutjob eats swan - Excuse: Hungry / Muslim
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/6174344.stm
I'm not sure why he couldn't have settled for a bag of crisps.
Poor Swan. So, he was hungry, decided to grab a knife travel down to the park and kill a swan so he could eat it? yeah right.
Edit: I'm not being sarcastic about the swan!
OMG:
Jim Neary, prosecuting, said: "When interviewed he said, 'I was hungry, I had to eat the swan so I killed it, I stabbed it. I did nothing wrong, it was just a bird, I needed to eat.'"
"The officers told him the swan was the property of the Queen and he replied, 'I hate the Queen, I hate this country.'"
Lock him in the Tower, make an example of him.
isnt there some law about swans being protected by the queen or something or other.
Lock him in the Tower, make an example of him.
lock him in a tower?
if he feels that way then kick him out, pack him off to Australia (we still do that, right?)
ps
that was some fast editing Edd, what's a swam? :d
"I hate the the Queen, I hate this country"
Bye Then:cya:
if he feels that way then kick him out, pack him off to Australia (we still do that, right?)
I wish we still packed people off to Australia when they commited a crime. I'd rob a bank to get there!:d
Prime example of why there are no swans or any large birds in the middle east. :d
This was in the news few weeks back.
lol some people seem to use being a muslim an excuse to justify their actions.. what a twat.
"I am fasting, I needed to eat."
What a nutcase. :conf: The guy's clearly mentally unstable.
Even more nutty is the fact that we paid his legal fee's.
isnt there some law about swans being protected by the queen or something or other.No. It's a popular urban myth though.
No. It's a popular urban myth though.
Swans are protected under the Countryside Act and Rights of Way Act 2000.
People who kill swans face a maximum £5,000 fine and/or six months in prison.

with the risk of sounding racist not if you are muslim
Swans are protected under the Countryside Act and Rights of Way Act 2000.
People who kill swans face a maximum £5,000 fine and/or six months in prison.Well yeah Swans are one of like a hundred sorts of wild bird that are covered by that act. I was referring to the urban myth that swans especially are protected because "the queen owns them all"
All swans, unless specifically marked by notches in their beak, belong to the Queen so I believe. Those with the notch in their beak on the right belong to Dyers and swans with a notch on both sides of their beak belong to Vintners.
Oh, just found this:

THE Tower (of London - where all the treasonists (is that a word?) go :)
No point sending him to Oz, they're way smarter than us and wouldnt take him, unless it was straight into a prison first like a lot of the illegal immigrants they get there.

Ok, just mute swans then.
Now, where's the wok??? I'm off to the river ;)

should stick a load of bird seed to his nuts and take him down to where the rest of the swans!!!! lunch time ;)
what a twat though!! hope he gets hit by a big fooking flying pig when he's walking down the street :d
squashed by pork
The Swans and Geese in Holyrood place in Edinburgh carry a possible jail term if you happen to kill one belonging to the old duch (Queen) as those birds have free roam accross Holyroods grounds and have had the wings clipped so they cannot fly away.
Jeeze.. are we sharing the same brain lately...?! stop nicking my thoughts you mind burglar! :d
i like to think of it more as great minds thinking alike..........

if its a mute swan , then it wouldnt have made a noise when he killed it
There is no respect for alternative faiths apparently...
Glad to know that people who hate the Queen and this country in general are gracious enough to accept the financial hand-outs.
Maybe if his housing benefit was stopped he'd consider changing his mind.

no they send them to wales to live :p
dont they stick crazy people in mental asylums anymore?!
Nope, care in the community is what its been since the late 80's.
This means that if someone is a homicidal axe wielding maniac they go away to a nice comfortable relaxed ward for a few months until they promise not to kill anyone, then they're thrown out again to cope on their own.... probably housed next to an axe shop!!

He's a muslim - hence a nutter.....thats the moral of the story.
mihael, thx for bringing this to our attention ;)
He's a muslim - hence a nutter.....thats the moral of the story.
I don't agree with the 'hence' but I guess it wouldn't be the same if you didn't twist things a little.
He's a nutter who happens to be a Muslim, not a nutter because he's a Muslim, big difference I think? It's the reaction when caught and excuses used that bother me the most here, not his chosen religon.
mihael, thx for bringing this to our attention ;)
So I'm Russian now am I?
did the swan sing its "swan song" before it was killed?
It probably just hummed it, being the Queen's pet mute swan.
I wonder whether he Halal'ed the swan........
So I'm Russian now am I?
:D that would probably be Mihaelsyzki

He hates the country, the guy has already proved he's a nutter, It's whats next? a bomb? Killing? send him anywhere. Space will do for him!

Sometimes you just need to laugh at life a bit. ;)
Sometimes you just need to laugh at life a bit. ;)
I can laugh, anyone who knows me will testify to that...however I found that to be in bad taste - no need for it.

if he is convicted of breaking a law then he will be treated accordingly. Like what happened now.
.. send him anywhere. Space will do for him!
You are probably unaware that nowadays countries cannot just 'unload' undesirables without the agreement of the recipient country.
Gone are the days when convicts, whores and lepers were loaded on ships and sent to faraway lands. Those lands are now full, have their own problems, and most importantly have reciprocal treaties with the rest of the world.
Let's all stop talking out of back orifices and wake up to the new world order.:eyebrows:
Now thats something I would feel very strongly about.
basically they should build more prisons.,
and have zero tolerance towards things like this swan issue and off course all other crimes.
this chap needs mental care and not prison, the killing of the bird is not good, and a bit bizarre but it is only a bird, millions of birds are killed by cats and nothing done about that,so harsh sentence to say the least, plus its my tax paying for the court case and detention ,there are better things to spend it on.His religion is academic, and a bit stupid of him to try to defend his actions by using it. the same would be true if the chap was christian and was eating goldfish saying he had to have fish on friday but would he have been given a custodial sentence? it is possible that prior to this incident he fullfilled a very usefull role in society and to kick him out also a bit harsh, then again he might always have been a "nutter"
... the same would be true if the chap was christian and was eating goldfish saying he had to have fish on friday but would he have been given a custodial sentence? ..
Freddie Starr got no prison sentence, did he?:d
It's true that custodial sentence for eating a bird is harsh, when vandals and yobs are let off with warnings.
He probably got the sentence for his big mouth, direspectful as he was - seeing himself not as a guest but like he owns the place.
As for the swans, I've always thought that the ones in Windsor (marked) belong to the Queen and killing one would attract a penalty worse than that of a rare bird.
I am used to living in the country and very often go on walks, carrying a knife, occasionally I feel hungry whilst out on my walks, do I see a cow and stab it, NO.... do I see a swan and stab it, NO...... Do homeless people, who are very often far more hungry than he would have ever felt ( I suspect) go around killing birds in parks, NO.... And what of his "brothers" why did they not feed him ....... ahhgg, youve started me off now......
IMO if you were to stand up in court and claim to hate the Queen and her country it is treason and we should bring back the death penalty for treason.
I remember a few years back a 'minority' woman claimed on TV that the Queen should be black, so she would represent the majority of The People.
How does one respond to this? Pretend they didn't hear it? Or call for a democratically elected monarchy system, particularly geared around so-called minorities?
That's the problem, people don't know when to stop and keep pushing until the tide turns the other way.
Same as this swan moron.
