Nic
Greddy have just released details of a new product called the V-Manage to control VVTi valve timing, which can also be connected to the E-manage Ultimate, see details HERE The price will be around £250 for the main unit, http://www.trust-power.com/02greddy/vmanage/vmanage_02.jpg
Sheefa
Looks nice - wouldn't have a clue what it's for though! Is this similar to Emanage Ultimate and Blue in terms of controlling fuelling Nic, and is it specifically for VVTIs? Cheers Greg
JustGav
Does it link into the emanage ultimate, hmmm, I may have to obtain one of these.
Ian C
It's not a fuel controller, it's entirely dedicated to controlling a variable valve timing system, be it a simple on/off valve setup for VTEC or a more complex continuously variable valve timing setup like the VVTi system on the later Supras. It works in conjunction with the E-Manage Ultimate for datalogging purposes but I think that's about it for connectivity from what I can tell. You know what this means don't you - You could drop a VVTi head into a non-VVTi Supra and map it with this unit I wonder if you could use two VVTi intake controllers and hook one up the the exhaust side -Ian

JustGav
Doesn't anyone read posts nowadays? Sorry, I wrote that as I saw it in my head, as in 'oooh it hooks up to the ultimate..' I did read the post and I actually read the greddy write up as well, so na na na *grin*
JustGav
I wonder if you could use two VVTi intake controllers and hook one up the the exhaust side -Ian Ian, the exhaust side is fixed isn't it? or are you thinking of getting a second set of VVTI control units and somehow putting it in. By the looks of it the unit should be able to control 2 Cams at the same time, but that is just looking at the pictures.

Do it Ian!

Digsy
I wonder if you could use two VVTi intake controllers and hook one up the the exhaust side -Ian Difficult without the extra oil galleries in the cylinder head to feed the second cam phaser. You might need a slightly bigger oil pump, too.
Tricky-Ricky
The ultimate will take care of the earlier Nissan VVT, and i would Imagen other simple RPM determined on/off VVT, don't know how the Supra VVTi works so i presume its not that simple? bondango
Anyone got pictures of the VVTi cylinder head? -Ian Some good info here Ian :- http://www.billzilla.org/vvtvtec.htm The v-manage seems to have got the hopes up of the Gen7 Celica VVTL-i' owners, so old VVti technology shouldnt be a problem...and does look a decent bit of kit.
