johnnyknox
My ballast has gone and I have just been informed that they no longer make the Kit that's on my car. So I need a new Kit. Can anyone recommend a good kit at a good price? Cheers

Nic
The ones I sell I regard as one of the best performing kits for nightime visibility available. I tested a lot of kits a while ago and these were the best VFM ones I found. They are a Japanese brand though so are twice the price of the ones mentioned above. There are a lot of cheap HID kits coming out of Taiwan on the market now, most of the ones I've tested though are not a lot better than a decent pair of halogen bulbs IMO. Tom S
I recently changed mine as the bulbs went, I'm sure I have 2 PIAA ballast kits some where, if you want them of course?

Mr Import Pimp Sir, Did you get my email about that gear knob? With regards to HIDs, I have concerns about spending more than £150 on something that only lasts 3000 hours. Tom S
this i did not know My new kit works fine and was £224 delivered. So quite happy, as replacement bulbs are only £80 the pair.

What kit did you go for mate? When they say 3000 hours, do they mean for the life of the bulb or the ballast?
Tom S
Bulbs I think. And the new kit was with bulbs / ballasts and the wiring. Spot on !!
