Chris and Alana
Hi there guys, Im going to buy a Miami GT exhaust and second decat pipe in the near future and need to know if my car (a twin turbo auto) will then create enough boost to cause fuel cut. Supragal
I think it's usually a full decat that pushes it over the edge. Have you seen this? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35932
Chris and Alana
Thanks for the link. I know it will only hit fuel cut if I create over 1 bar of boost and from searching threads if you remove both cats the turbos can run upto 1.5 bar uncontrollably so you fit a restrictor ring to help keep it at about 1.2 bar. however If I keep the first cat as a restrictor to stop overboosting incontrollably what boost will my tubbies create, will it come close to or more than 1 bar? thanks for the help.
