Guest blueangel
Well i thought id put some pix up of what ive been trying to do over the last couple of weeks. Right to put ppl in the picture my supe has been having a huge amount of work done, and being the type of person i am ive been trying to do as much of the work as possible myself. Things like the spray job and some of the bodywork i let proffesionals do but i have always been there helping as much as i could, but the design and how it will end up looking is all my work and i have tried to keep it sleek but as 1off as possible to help it stand out from the crowd. Now ive never used a sewing machine in my life but fancied trying my seats myself, so after a few weeks practicing on my old pug seats here they are. Now i know they are not perfect but this was my first attempt so give me a little slack but opinions and fair comments are welcome lol.[OOPS][/OOPS]
Shane
Well done, for a first attempt it is impressive. I suspect it took a long long time?

Guest blueangel
not too long but thinking of changing the leather for a softer grain, and trying again like they say practice makes perfect.
dazla
well done matey. I really like the front seats. I'm an upholster my self and i've been thinking of doing my seats to. for a first attempt. That's brill. You just need to get them abit tighter. bungy
you can use steam to soften the leather and make it easier to work around corners and edges. a paint stripper with just the hose end is good for that.
garetheves
Not a bad attempt for a first go. I know i certainly couldnt do any better. You just need to pull the leather tighter i think and will look the dogs danglies.
markymark
Well done mate for giving it a go yourself, that's really good for a first attempt. A couple more goes and I think you would have perfected it. You must be very talented to be able to do this.

SupraStar 3000
Really good mate. Like the colours and Japanese rising sun design. Not bad for a DIY job. Well done
