catch tank

Firstly catch tanks need to be fitted correctly, ie lower then were their being feed from. It seems my turbo issues are breathing related and not turbo themselves. Phoenix reckon my breathing system is struggling causing too much pressure to be put on the turbos, as my catch tank is a little to high, and some of my hose kit pipes are suffering collaps due to them not being heat rated. If you have oil in your inlet piping them its one of two things, 1) your cam breathers are throwing out some oil, make sure the breathers that go across the cam case are all ok, as I have been told if it cant breath across the cam case properly this can cause problems. 2) Your turbos are leaking oil, this could either be the turbos themselves or because your breathing system is failing putting extra pressure on your tubo seals.........sorry that went on abit, just trying to see, even something simple like a hose kit and catch tank can cause endless problems.......

Aye, at full boost and high revs a 2JZ of 'some' age will need a lot of crankcase ventilation.

This narrow path can't hack it.

Get some fuel-grade hose from your local motor factors and replace them. Best is the one with the coil inside, it doesn't collapse.
