Howdy.

Has anyone here fitted the AEM Tru-Boost controller / Gauge? I just found it and think it looks really nice, and easier to hide than the Blitz boxes as I can just stick it in the clock cutout.

Just thought i'd see if anyone has experianced any problems with them first.

Thanks

Sorry to ressurrect this one, but I have just taken delivery of my tru-boost too, and want to pop it in tomorrow - does anyone have any piccies of what pipes the vacuum gauge and actuator thingy have to be attached too? Either that or some really good directions for which bit I need to look at and pull the pipes off!

I have a facelift, can I pop a T piece on the back of the stock guage and use that for the feed for the tru-boost vacuum pipe? Just a thought.

Gauge is all wired in and boost connected, hitting 1.09 bar max, so that's not too bad, but I've not connected the boost solenoid yet. Can anyone tell me where this should be plumbed in so I can play?! I know some of you have the tru-boost gauges/controllers...

No, no-one seems to want to help the helpless!

I'll try and get some piccies once its all up and running - its pretty funky though, you should buy one! My only possible concern is it doesn't have a dimmer for night-time, other than that it seems tip top!

OK, I think I'm getting it now. The pipe in the actuator photo goes to the turbo I think, so that is where I want the solenoid to go, inbetween the turbo and there yeah?

Then I need to remove the end hose from the vsv (whatever that is) as in picture remove1. The other end goes into the boost hardpipes so I have to cap off that end, as in picture cap1.

Is that right?
