As I pull off in 1st, there is a faint chattery noise, like bearing chatter or something, doesnt seem to affect gears engagine, its just when I lightly creep the clutch.. Normal ? Scooter Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 in my experience nearly all 6 speeds have a bit of transmission slop / chatter / rattle at the creeping in traffic type of conditions. So yes normal. Certainly nothing to worry about (your symptoms sound the lower end of the scale) It can be flywheel related so if the clutch ever goes it can be worth looking into the condition of that at the same time.
