switching to usdm tubbies

hey mates! was wondering what other things involved if you switch to USDM turbos ? i know you have to change injectors to 550's and change resistor box.

US turbos are the same as UK turbos. You don't necessarily need the 550 injectors unless you're going above 1.2 bar boost, but if you do use them then you'll need a fuel controller.

Ya, pretty pointless swapping to UK turbos with 440cc injectors (assuming that you are planning on swapping turbos to attain higher power levels at BPU) since the injectors run out of flow at 1.2-1.3bar on jspec turbo s themselves.

well, right now im hitting 1.2 bar daily. i do plan to change to 550's so can i achieve more boost than 1.2 bar ? i've got the whole exhaust manifold as well and a new TRD down pipe and resistor box.
