just got back. was a great night apart from being freeeeeeezing cold. got some good pics which ill get up tomorrow. dan sorry to hear about your car i hope its not too costly to fix mate.
was fun watching greg go mad down the road and wounded about jamies messing up right towards the end. all in all a great night though apart from a couple of probs im sure that theyll be sorted in no time ;)
great to see everyone again and meeting some new faces. great job done by lui and the rest of the organisers :)

Great meet, bad ending. went back to my car and found a fu*king huge dent in the front wing and scrapes on the front bumper :(
some sh*t for brains drove into it then didn't even stop !

thing is, my skirts are blended into the wings, so replacing the wings will be a chore :(

Gutted for you Pistonbroke - Mines had some rather nasty damage recently too so I really feel for you.

Hey guys great night... Snapped a drive shaft last night, no biggie we took the car straight to turbofit and i stayed at gregs and sams last night, Its on the ramp now and ill be back in action with in the hour:D

Its not a drive shaft, ive wrecked the TRD diff:( there putting a stock one in for now till i can get another.
Ouch, I should think that takes some doing to break one of those :)

In the past Nic has got these at a great price, not sure on delivery though...
Greg has a UK manual diff we are gonna put in for now, then ill get some prices in for a new TRD when i get a chance:)I hear its a specalised job to fit one of them?

Yea its no biggie, all part of the fun:D the case has a split the lenth of it, ill stick some pics up later.

Thanks for the sympathy everyone,I've taken the car down to a local repair specialist recomended to me by Surj and his mate Steve. Its gonna hurt me for £400 which is quite reasonable I thought, its just £400 I haven't got at the moment :(.
I should be back up and running all shiny and new by the weekend, I'll post pics up of the repair once its done.
Oh, almost forgot, Jamie, I got your incident on video, if its not too painful for you to watch, do you mind if I put it in the video ?:D

Are u sure you had a TRD diff unit in your car? and if yes how do you know? (unless you purchased one and fit it its very difficult to know until you open the diff case. Its 100% unlikely the "actual" TRD unit diff breaks..The TRD diff is inside your diff case. I haven't heard of anyone breaking the bearings or any parts of the TRD diff. You mentioned your diff case is cracked?
Fitting a TRD diff unit is a specialist's job. You really need to know what you doing as well as have the special toyota diff tools. There are diff people who do it..Hope this helps :)
Very disappointed with the reports that came from this Supra gathering and of the showing of the 2006 Dragonball DVD.
Just for the record, below is a picture of a MKiii SUPRA (for those that asked what it was last night) and for those that went to France last year, you'll notice it was parked where we all stayed. This is to prove that there were some in attendance, when you watch the DVD you'd think otherwise :badmood:

The camera really struggles with focus in the dark but its still a good watch.

No way, it's just be a pixelly mess if I shrunk it that far. The lowest I can go is 25mb for putfile, even then thats already halfed the res, halfed the sound quality, halfed the screen size.
Trying to squeeze 3.5gig into an email is pushing it a tad :D
You'll just have to wait and see :)

Im 99% it was a TRD diff, feels totally different now and im looking forward to getting another.

Jamie your car is mad. sounds amazing and it even made those girls at the bus stop scream when the exhaust was popping :D its a shame that it messed up right towards the end though :(

Cant please everyone..but i will try make a special effort on the clean up (two days) to include many more mkIII's this was a showing before final mastering so i'll do my best....it is the mkivsupra Dragonball and there are a few mkIII's in there but i agree, it did tend to concentrate on mkiv's, (as it was initially a mkivsupra Dragonball event) im not into dissapointing people so im happy to delay it and amend it if its needed till you are all 100% happy!!:(

Had a good night yesterday, was the most supra's ive seen in one place, awesome stuff. Im new to the scene and didnt really mingle much, just had a look around. Saw Jamies diff incident, that was harsh. I know that Terrible Turner took pics of all the cars and think they will be on here soon. :)

It was great night for me as it was my last Supra meet with my Supra as it goes on Friday and I pick up the Skyline,
I'm taking a short interlude and having a play with a Skyline for a bit,
Hope to return to a Supra in the very near future, The price i got offered for my Supra..... i'd have been a fool to say no ....

Where was you parked mate? was you against the building or did you move it into a bay or out of that car park?
What colour do you reckon the car was that hit you cos its hard to tell in the dark and on the photos?
I am so sorry that you didn't get into the main car park. I did try to ring Lui but was told that the car park was already closed and full and that was at 7.35pm 10 mins before the posted time.
Would like a copy of the vid if you could mate..let me how much etc

It was parked against the building. The car/van that hit mine just tranfered black plastic all over it which would suggest non colour coded bumpers.
Once its repaired though, I don't think I'll be taking it up there again, even inside the car park, it was very busy, I saw plenty of coat zips being pushed against paintwork as people squeezed past the cars :(

Si and Luke eugene and adam, thanks for the dvd of the Dragonball i know just how much hard work goes into those things lolol not as easy as people may think. Luke your music (all written specially for the dvd to avoid added costs to the punters ie.copyright etc was great) Si and Adam the editing was smooth and seemless not an easy thing to do. I am sure it is a difficult task trying to please all the people all the time is indeed a thankless task, but knowing you you will do your level best to try to put in all that is humanly possible. Well done. May i also let all know that Simon invested a sizable amount of his money into the making and producing of this DVD and he will not be getting it back. Just though you should know.
Lui big thanks comming at you too.
