Have a vibration at the back of the car, when at idle...

Already changed the boot rubbers, and adjusted the boot catch to rule this out. Today I narrowed it down and its my spoiler...

Anyone else have this ?

What can I do to cure it, I hate rattles etc and they do my head in:d :D

I get this too, But a heavy knocking rather than a vibration

I use silcone spray on the boot seal and a touch of grease on the new boot lid rubbers, It cures it for about 3 mths, short term i know but I to hate any form or rattles

Do you have a standard or non standard spoiler?

As i have only suffered this after changing from the standard spoiler (which are very light)

Its after market spoiler. can't remember if it did it before, but im sure it didn't otherwise i wouldn't have had this problem. :D :d

Try lubing it ... works a treat for me but as said only lasts 3 mths or so ...

God just realised what i've said... HA HA HA ...

I mean the boot seal and Rubbers

Bit of grease on the rubbers and silicone the boot rubber,

Stops all knocks and creaks

Its always the things you'd never imagine that fix annoying problems,

Beleive it or not Peanut butter gets rid of scratches on your black plastic trim like door tread plates etc ..
