Gaz Walker
Hi guys, Thought this may be of some interest that Rays have signed a deal with Williams F1 to make wheels for the 2007 F1 Championship. This is great news for us also as we are an Official Distributor for Rays. Obviously research and development in this field will only improve Rays wheels in the future. http://www.envyperformance.com/images/new_stuff/re30/F1-006.jpg Regards, Gaz. Chris Wilson
They have made a few F1 wheels before this, and loads of F3 and F3000 rims. Nice rims, competively priced with Technomagnesio, BBS , OZ and the like.
Ian C
I wonder how much that doesn't weigh -Ian
Chris Wilson
I think current FIA F1 regs cite a minimum wheel weight, not sure, would need to look it up. They also need to stay dimensionally stable and strong at very elevated temps (carbon / carbon brakes), and have good ventilation.
