Animal
Dropped off my Supe at the bodyshop this evening to get a full respray and all my carbon bits fitted! There's a dent in the nearside rear quarter just above the air vent and a little ding on the curve above the petrol cap to sort out, the aeriel is being removed & filled and carbon fibre doors, bonnet & boot fitted. I'll also be fitting Super Advan Racing V2 wheels, polished rims & gunmetal spokes (17x9 F, 17x10 R) with Toyo's of some description (anyone recommend a good Toyo, I've not looked yet) It's getting sprayed with House of Kolor "Brandywine" Kandy over a light gold base on all the metal panels, mirrors, handles, bumpers & wing and just a "Brandywine" kandy concentrate over the carbon. Not entirely sure what the final colour will come out like - it'll be getting 2-3 coats of kandy, but it should be a deepish red of a similar but darker tone to the stock red with a pale gold metalflake look, depending on the basecoat used. Finally, after almost 2 years of ownership, I'll not be driving around in a tatty, peeling, well-used looking Supra but one I'll REALLY love to own (and actually keep clean!!!) I can't wait. Animal
It's gonna be a good 2 weeks minimum (but should only cost about 1500-1800 quid, including windows & trim out prior to spraying). It's gonna be the longest few weeks ever, driving my dad's Ford Fusion.

It is a lovely rich colour though ain't it. There are some fantastic colours available. I was looking at a gorgeous red pearl that we reckoned would make the carbon only visble from certain angles, but it was summat stupid like 200 quid a litre!!! This lot cost just shy of 300 quid for the kandy's and all the reactors and stuff.

Animal
3 litres Brandywine Urethane Kandy @ 23.94/l 1 litre catalyst @ 32.14/l 1 litre fast reducer @ 10.71/l 6 half pints Brandywine Kandy concentrate (to mix with laquer for c/f panels) @ 21.20/half pint total = £284.20 I think those quantities are right - it just has a number on the invoice and I know one Kandy came in litres, the other in half pints. Cant remember what the rest was measured in.

Animal
The paint came from Martin Brown's (I think) in Blackpool. They have all the colour chips so you can go in and have a flick through the book at all the pretty, shiny colours.
