Ok, I've now bought my stock Supra TT, pick it up next week. Can you please list your top 3 Performance Mods and Top 3 Styling mods ? basically I want it to go fast as **** and turn heads.

for example

1. Boost Controller

2. De-limit

3. Decat

1. Seat Re-trims

2. Privacy Glass

3. Glass Headlights

4. Topless bird laying on bonnnet ?

1. Learn how to drive the car

2. Do some more learning

3. Big Twins / Single

1. Wallpaper

2. Fuzzy Felt

3. Fablon

What i would do fella is have a look through the forum using the search for BPU

'Whacking a load of cheap parts on it to make it fast as ****' is only going to end in one place!

BPU will make it fast enough, but also safely for the engine

1. Electric Turbocharger

2. Remove the Air filter

3. 6 exhausts (1 for each cylinder, w00t!)

i) Neons

ii) F&TF Sticker kit

iii) Multi flip paint.

yeh id take it easy for a while is it not fast enough or are you used to faster machines than a stock TT?

That lot should turn heads together with decat from BPU will definately cause some attention whever it goes!

Put the stock airbox back on for a start!

Do you need cheap insurance?

I've only done two performance enhancements- UK brakes and a double decat.

I've only done one cosmetic thing and that was put 18 inch multispokes on.

But in all seriousness, the trend seems to be for about 1k you can get BPU components which will add quite a few BHP to your car. (Something im working on now).

Have you looked in Max Power magazine?

I think a few people have forgotton about JB's Respect directive.

Well said Ian. Its difficult to know what to do not being a mechanic and the only Turbo car I've had was a TT Quattro. Basically I pick it up in a week and want to plan my mods.

Whats BPU ?

Basic Performance Upgrades

The catalytic converts are very restrictive on the TT Supra and are used to limit the boost. Removing the cats helps the turbos spool up a lot quicker and will allow the turbos produce more boost. Infact they allow the turbos to overboost so you'll need to limit the boost by fitting ring in the exhaust to restrict the exhaust gasses.

Do a search for BPU, with a few easy and relatively cheap mods, you should be able to get between 370-400(crank)hp.
