Matt _Aero top_
Well as some of you might know i've got a problem with my sup . I've got a knocking on the front and can't seem to get it to stop . How do you tell if the drop links are nackered ? i was checking them out the other day and you can move them side to side piece of piss but not really much up and down movement which me thinks there shouldn't be ? JODY T
It may be your lower arm knocking, Ive replaced so many of these for this type of problem its untrue!
Matt _Aero top_
Lower arm with the ball joint ? how did you check this ?
JODY T
Its a hard one that... I usually try and find play by getting underneith the car and moving the wheels side to side whilst watching the 2 joints for movement.. It hard to recreate the knocking as you cant put the weight of the car on it to move it.. Does it knock when you turn or over bumps?
Matt _Aero top_
It knocks like hell over bumps and sometimes when putting the car on the curb and turning at makes a cracking sound . even when driving on roads that arn't that bumpy you can feel it tremmering away .
