Supra Bonnet Scoop - YAY OR NAY

So all.....what do you reckon, does the scoop enhance the look of the Supra OR does it spoil the smooth lines and look STUCK ON?

mine came with it so can't really do much about it but I like it, haven't thought of getting rid of it! Looks good with or without I think..

Of course it looks stuck on, thats because it is!

I like it, I like Supras without them, its no big deal to me.

When I first got mine, I really wanted a scoop, but I'm not bothered now. Would rather have TRD bonnet instead (I like the cut-outs)

The bonnet is boring without it, having said this the scoop could be a bit nicer to look at... I'd rather have it than not, at the end of the day it's functional rather than being some random chunk of plastic that someone has put on there.

Yeah but only functional if you have the rest of the gubbins under the hood.

TBH I think its probably one of the least 'in your face' scoops I've seen, especially compared to those on Scoobies.

Yes, providing you dont mind a big hole in the bonnet remaining

I like it (well I would after just fitting one). It gives the front end a much more aggressive look IMHO.

I like it with, the jap bonnets abit plain for me!

But i would prefer a carbon bonnet.

Does the uk scoop fit the jap bonnet, as it has holes in the frame that look like they would if they were drilled out?.

Fairly 50%/50% on this for at the moment.......

I agree that it is functional (apparently cooling cyl5/6), however if it made such a difference then why wasnt it standard on the Supra's, after all Toyota know best, right?

looks very nice, were did you get that plastic thing that kicks out a little at thwe bottom of your front bumper, i need one of these.....

I'd say it looks better without as the front looks very sleek and stylish, but as bonnet scoops go the supra one is not bad and I wouldn't cry if I had one, probably just depends what you get used to and how the overall car looks with or without it.

As an OEM fitting yes.

I'd have it for looks alone even without the guubbins. I am not too sure what compromise fitting a simple one of these would do to a J-spec

The Supra I saw today had this scooper pooper, but inside the bonnet was just a thick layer of soundproofing, no hole for the air to enter, so looked a bit pointless, functionality wise that is. Anyway, I prefer not to have it, blocks my view of liddle baby bunnies running out on suicide missions.
