affney
got the car booked in for next friday at henstead motorsport in beccles suffolk they are charging around £160 for rear seal and link seal (i think thats what it is) it sounds a lot better than the quote i got from last trans ltd in ipswich £1500.:haha:hopefully the exhaust will now stop burning leaking gearbox oil and stinking the insid of the car out when the smell hits the heater matrix and blows it in my face:( i hope they do a good job
Guest dee_rz
do you have a number for these guys??
Homer
Thats a fair price to have both seals replaced. Just make sure they know what they're doing otherwise you'll pay twice. Not sure what you're on about with the heater matrix - thats mounted inside the car! Dee, where are you based? If in SE why don't you use Phoenix in Watford - you've been here long enough to know of their reputation.
