You will probably ned top mounts. the bearings in the Tein spherical bearing type top mounts are rubbish and start knocking at low mileages, these can be replaced with proper joints for about 25 quid each. You may find the seat diameter of your top mounts is different to those required by stock springs anyway, making them impossible to use safely. I'd put stock mounts on myself.

You can buy most of the Tein coilovers with or without the top mounts (ie. so the seat diameter must be the same). In which case you may have OEM upper mounts fitted already.

The Tein upper mounts are usually green in colour, so you should be able to identify which you have.

A new set of stock top mounts is your best bet Hamish - your suspension is quite 'knocky', wouldn't like to see you replace most of it and still have knocks!

IIRC you'll need the mounts / plates that go on top of the springs too (between the spring top and the top mount) if changing from coilovers.

Cheers,

Brian.
