This time - exactly as per I/C hose blowing off - sudden loss under quick acceleration - no boost but can still motor
Except
Cant find any probs with the hoses (double / triple checked large I/C and small jobbies everywhere)
and
Traction control warning light came on when it happened? I have racelogic so normally never see it!
Any ideas? - and John sensible comments only plz!
:(
Did you check on the IC yet ????

All seems fine - jubilees all tight etc
It really has to be just a hose , have you checked everywhere ???, the ic ones are hidden away .Are you registering any boost at all ????

I agree the ones up under the covers in the front wing are a pig to get, at but often pop.

Yep, one of these popped off on my car and on first inspection all looked alright. It was only when I took the inner wing cover off that I could see it was off... It was off, but still lined up looking and feeling like it was still in place...
Hope it's nothing serious Paul.
Is the TC light still on?

Well...took out battery (nice n shiny!) and headlight (what a pain to get back on!) and found....
nothing...
everything tighter than a tight thing from tight town!
So...put it all back and...
Everything normal - no probs,,boost fine
The SBC shows 520HP and 1.28 Boost - so obviously wheel spin that brought the traction on (but with Racelogic at 10% should the stock warning light come on???)
I think that the sbc knocked out the boost cos it overran the warning set at !.15 and for some reason it didn't come back on??
Weird

But that s the intake to the throttle body the hoses Matt and I were taliking about are the other side.
From what I remember, stock TC cuts in between 10% and 13% slip so it quite possibly came in before or at the same time as RL at the 10% setting. IMHO Paul, turn stock TC off and let RL do its job. I would imagine RL was working at the same time at low levle cut so you never noticed it. Not like stock TC:flame Dev

Errr...having missed parts i, ii and iii of this problem...so easy on the :flame Dev ok?
When you remove the battery, this reset the ECU, right?
Could this have been the problem?
