Parts in general aernt too expensive to build a big hp engine tbh! (especially with excahnge rates atm!) its just finding someone that you trust etc to put it together once as basically 99.9% of peeps can only afford to do the job once!! Also you would only ever get back up to 30-40% of your spend when you sell it unless you find someone that wants a "ready-built" racer who will then normally pay a premium for a turn key "proven" car!
