Hi all just a little thread :)

So impressed with my ebay cheapy HIDS £69.99 i thought i would post up a little pictures thread

For future reference i used xenon.direct off of ebay and they are of 9005 fitment and i chose the 8000k variant

The packaging was good, shame he wasnt in stock of the item when i purchased otherwise it would have been next day delivery.

Overall very easy to fit, hardest part was finding a nice tidy place for the ballasts, otherwise, doable in 10minutes easy.

one went onto the ground near the drivers side headlight (the ballast holder) and i tiewrapped the other at the side of the battery and under the fusebox loom so its pretty tidy. was thinking of taking out the lights and putting the ballasts under the lights but the standard wiring didnt reach that far.

yeah with them been cheap hopefully they last, the documentation with the bulbs says 3000hrs

Did you get dipped beam bulbs and main beam? As the ad just says this:

2 x Xenon light bulbs

2 x Anti corrosion ballasts with connection cables

2 x Ballast clamps

4 x Cable ties

6 x Screw bolts

1 Easy installation manual

the main beam is a completly diffrent bulb so no, this is just for the normal dipped beam.

If you wanted the main(full) beam done too, you would need another kit, although because they take a few seconds to warm up they wouldnt be any good for flashing etc.

think you will find when you flash main beam you get an instant flash, then dull till warmed up all in a matter of seconds;)
