I have a UK spec manual supra.
latley a couple of times during extreme sideways launches or doughnuts (Toyota TC switched off.) there is a delay in the diff locking up. 2-3 seconds or until i let of the throttle a bit. then it locks but it feels almost like TC cutting in.

any ideas? is the TC messing about or am i about to start a diff rebuild? maybe i should be a little more gentle with her?

try removing the TC fuse..... last 7.5a fuse from the ouside... aslo tells you on underside of fuse box

I have a J-Spec auto..... but i think it may work the same....

i noticed that it would launch straighter on the 1/4 with the fuse out, than with..... also a bit more predictable in the wet

Im assuming the TC is basically the same in the UK version... i know it deals with the UK limiter too

definitely advise pulling the fuse, and then going to your usual safe quiet place to try it out. I remember reading some time ago that with the fuse in there is still an element of traction control built in even with the in car switch turned off.
But as always be careful early doors........
