Paul - Polished knobs!!

Just want to say thanks to Paul, one of our new 'Hobbyist', not just for taking my money, lol. I received the heater control knobs yesterday and just want to say that Paul has put alot of effort in these! They slip over the stock knobs and then because of the tapered finish on the inside, it becomes tighter and forms a snug, tight finish.

Well done mate, keep up the good work. The packaging was really good too - They were in a little gift box thing and protected well.

How about a polished stick on alu face for the clock now? ;)

Pics attached,

Ignore the bubbling on the dash, that's what you get for poor preparation before spraying! Hopefully I'll respray it soon.

Cheers,

Ro

Ro,

That's one of the smartest interiors that I've seen yet mate! Andrew

Thanks andrew :)

looking good Ro, the quality is superb, my misses thought it was a present for her when she saw the box they were packed in :D

Lol, they do look like a mail order gift from Tiffany's!

Well what can I say :D

Cheers for the comments, won't live down using those bloody boxes will I.

I'm well pleased with the fit too, just happy that they all go on OK.

I'm having a look and think about the stock clock but I think the next job will be the dimmer switch to match the heater ones :)

Yeah, I was thinking that too because mine needs doing too.

I replaced my clock with an analogue (well, one with hands) VDO clock from a Porsche. I then turned an aluminium bezel for it, looks far better than the stock clock IMO.

BTW, I'm thinking about selling the boxes on their own as people seem so chuffed with them :D ;)
