£6,995, facelift gunmetal TT auto.

She's got big UK brakes, active front spoiler, facelift everything, and the condition is absolutely spot on.

The only problems are: headlights a bit yellow, but i just brasso'd them and they're a lot better. No ciggy lighter, and the intercooler is missing far too many fins.

I have a good condition SMIC to go on.

Condition is remarkable. This car has done 102,000 miles (on the clock), but the inside and outside are spotless, the steering wheel is spotless, like brand new, same for the gear lever. The radiator and a/c condensor are in great shape.

She's completely stock, except I just fitted my Volk's. The ride is amazing. So smooth and supple - stock suspension.

It really makes me wonder if my 105,000 mile car (the old one), which I bought with 58,000 on the clock, had actually done 150,000 miles when I first bought it.

There are no dead LED's on the dashboard whatsoever.

I do keep looking for the cruise-control switch when I come into 40mph motorway speedcamera restrictions though.

Really really pleased :D

The audio system is a bit smart too..

it's a Sony CD player, with a Sony MiniDisc player underneath, but the minidisc player is also a digital graphic-EQ display/controller for the CD player.

Unfortunately it sounds like you're listening to music in a car - as it does with most car CD players, so my Clarion DXZ928 with the time-delay stuff will be going back in.

Thanks guys :)

Thanks Peter! Cheque was posted today too.

and Mike, no prob - I probably will sell it, but then with the last car I had to put the old radio back in when I crashed it.. so kind of think I might keep hold of old bits from this too, but we'll see.

re: bringing it round ;) well.. can I have some more hours in the day please! I've been wanting to fit my speakers since Wednesday but it's dark when I get home and then I'm round at my lady's house.

If only Mascrat was a week later than it was :(

I really was lucky. I crashed my car on Sunday, and got straight on the autotrader that night. Saw the facelift car and rang him in the morning. It'd only been on the autotrader for two days.

I did my shit re: getting old wheels back for my crashed car, fitted them, stuck the Volks in the Orion and went to the bank to draw out as much cash as I could, which was only £400.

I then drove over to Kidderminster in the Orion with the Volks in the back, and fell in love with the car.

Made a deal with the guy where I'd leave £400 deposit on the basis that insurance money or something would be through soon, and said he could keep the 17" TSW wheels & tyres that were on the Supra so he could get a bit more money. He was going to include the Toyota 17" rims anyway.

I left my Volks with him and 10 minutes after leaving Kidderminster I got a picture message through on my phone of the car with my Volks on it :D

Three weeks later the money was TT'd over and I picked up the car :D

Car had had a new gearbox which was thought to be needed due to a noise, which was later found to be the engine mounts (normal on a facelift car). So engine mounts & gearbox have been replaced.

Drop-links went bad, and in fixing them something got messed up with the ABS sensors, so they were replaced too...

The chap had spent some money maintaining this car. He's been driving Supras for the last 20 years but is getting arthritis (sp?) now so can't be doing with getting in/out of the Supra any more.

Couldn't he have just got one of those chair lift things you see on UK Gold?? You know the type that lifts the olds out of their armchairs ;)

On the other hand you wouldn't have a nice new car Carlos...

Congrats on the new motor.
