miko_supra
they wouldnt be road legal because the full beam lamp has to be removed. try it urself...drill a hole and file out a big circle
Nic
Hey Does anyone know where to get the headlamps with the induction tube built into them? and are they road legal? As i saw a red Sup with them in at the Pod on sunday and i really want some!! Thanks Vicki:) Hi Vicki These are all home made ie. a normal plastic headlight with a hole cut out and a tube glued inside. You could try asking gzaerojon (Jon) perhaps he could fabricate one for you. cheers

As i saw a red Sup with them in at the Pod on sunday and i really want some!! Thanks Vicki:) Hi vicki that was my car i done it myself it can be tricky and one wrong move can mess your lights for good, they are not legal and will fail an mot so you either have to get a spare light to swop over so it will pass or you need to know a mot tester who you are friendly with. cheers

I had a look at it while you were having a warm in your car or getting ready to leave, nice bit of work I thought Hi guys thanks for that, the light turned out ok but it took quite a while to do, do you think it looks ok in black or should i get a stainless rim/tube made up ? Car needs a bit more tidying a few rough bits on wings etc.

And defo in black!!! can i have one please very nice Hi thanx, unfortunately I dont have much time on my hands at the moment and even if i did i am not sure if i would attempt to do this on other peoples lights , it did take a while to do and one false move and the light is fudged completely, (came quite close to this, but was lucky) it is also very tricky getting a good seal to stop water and condensation getting into the lights, while at the same time not getting too much glue all over the place. Voo51 will pm you how i did it but will be later in week as i am very busy ripping up my floor trying to sort out some woodworm the little bas***ds, How dare they take up my time when i could be working on my sup.
