carl0s
Help! Chatting with the very friendly insurance engineer, and he wants me to provide examples of UK auto cars which have sold for reasonable money. Has anybody got anything? Please! thanks, Carl

Chiefgroover
I found a load on the net / autotrader too, and got the price i listed on the policy after 4 months!. If it comes to the stage where you are running out of patience, I suggest taking them to court, they know they will loose as judges hate them. I think there is a point where this forum will have a facility to help people get decent payouts ofr their cars as an "expereinced and reliable valuer". "WE see loads of cars change hands etc"
carl0s
I found a load on the net / autotrader too, and got the price i listed on the policy after 4 months!. I went through the 'trader and found a few. One cheap at £5,495 with 130,000 miles, and a more realistic £6,900 for a 156,000 mile car I have also forwarded an excerpt from the model differences FAQ on here, stating the higher specification and rarity etc. Fingers crossed for over £6k. Glass's online evaluator gives £4,000 for A1 condition trade.
Chiefgroover
how much have you its value stated @ on the policy?
carl0s
how much have you its value stated @ on the policy? I don't think we do. It's covered on the fleet policy of a company I work contractually for. The policy simply states 'any vehicle and driver with the policy holders permission'.
