Hi i want to keep the stock tt exhaust but also want more power.

I just want to keep the car as standard as I can so its quiet and smooth (unlike my other car).

would de-cat'ing it with standard system provide any more power? boost wise?

ta for the replys:)

Yes removing both cats, even with the stock exhaust fitted, will increase boost, which will give you more power and faster spooling of the turbos.

The stock boost is around 0.8bar, you could raise this to say 1.1bar without the cats (you will need a restrictor ring in the exhaust to prevent overboosting).

Telephone Chris Wilson, he'll be able supply you with what you need.

Mine went from 250rwhp to 275rwhp when decatted & using a 52mm restrictor ring & the standard exhaust. It's no louder (my wife is profoundly deaf so these things matter to us).

Wow thats suprising , i thought decating would increase the noise level even with a stock exhaust!
