i have a boosting problem which some of you might know about, my car missfires under 2nd turbo boost around 80mph, i looked into revving the car in park but it wouldnt hit redline, ive now found out if i take the revs up slowley it will go to redline, its when i give it a bootfull it hits 5500rpm and missfires. another thing i hear when driving the spool up noise of the 1st turbo is very loud even with the standerd airbox in place, i poss suspect the exhaust buypass or someting like that? do all standerd TT give a loud spool noise? i poss think thay may be linked together.

i also get very poos fuel consumption and a smell of fuel, cant see any leaks though? any info will help as ime starting to get annoyed and getin skint at the same time

Sounds really similar to what mine was doing but without the misfire. Does it do it the first time you want tubby 2 and then runs fine in the next gear or is it all the time.

That could be the boost pressure tank.

Checkout the FAQs as there's info on this sort of problem
