nur-spec question

just wondered if there is a great deal of difference between the cat back, and just the back box.

obviously there is the pipe work you get (and loose) with the cat back, but is it really an overall gain for the extra cash? will there be a sound difference between the two?

Would the silencers make much difference to the boost you can generate?

I've got Whifbitz double decats on mine and assumed that I would need just the back box to complete the "full system" effect (ie - 1st decat, 2nd decat then backbox) but judging from this thread will I need a full system to marry up with the arse end of the 2nd decat?

As said the wider diameter, single pipe cat back system should give increased performance and significant increase in noise level compared to the stock exhaust with back box.
