Hi all,

Sorry but I'm not girlie (though my brother MrHanky often debates this) but I have purchased a lovely 6 speed TT from Jurgen. Alas it's a fair few weeks away yet and I'm already trying to buy stuff for it!!! I tried to rid myself of this modding bug once I sold my GTR but the temptation is too great!!!

Anyway I hope to meet some of you guys this following weekend at Santa pod. I'll be there with my bro in his new Supra if all goes as planned.

Cheers

Funny that because I've been thinking about changing the wheels for some with a little bit of colour on them. Though I must admit they're starting to grow on me and maybe when I see it in the flesh I'll change my mind...

Cheers guys, I can't wait for it to come. It's going be a very difficult 10 weeks :( But it'll be the best crimbo present I'll have ever had :d

Don't get me wrong the work wheels are very nice but I think there might be too much silver going on. Was thinking about some Top Secret gold TE37's or maybe some gold BBS LM like wheel. Gonna need a front mount and downpipe too.

Welcome to the club

Very nice, best colour and best bodykit too

Have a look in my garage, mine looks very similar, but with bronze SA-70 wheels.

There is a group buy on at the moment for new GReddy front mounted intercoolers, see details HERE. Also if I can be of any help supplying wheels, please let me know.

Just wondering at what boost does the fuel cut kick in at? And if you run 1.2 bar would it be wise to get some sort of A/F controller?

Just wondering at what boost does the fuel cut kick in at? And if you run 1.2 bar would it be wise to get some sort of A/F controller?

Standard fuel cut is 1bar, anything over this and you'll need a fuel cut defencer (FCD). The generally accepted limit on stock turbos is 1.1-1.2bar. The Supra runs a little rich as standard, so can cope with 1.1-1.2bar on stock fuel setup, although it would be advisable to fit a new fuel pump and fuel filter to ensure adequate fueling.

Being able to control the fueling and timing can make a significant difference to performance. For basic fuel set up you could use the Apexi SAFC. If you want to maximise performance though on stock turbos, I'd recommend the Emanage Ultimate (piggy back ECU), which allows fueling and timing to be mapped.

I'm organising a group buy for the Emanage Ultimate at the moment if interested, see details here:

Probably gonna go the way of a power FC as I've had one of these before and liked it. This maybe a while off yet as I'll wanna sort the handling before I go big power. Until then maybe an apexi AFC...

Just so you know, the standard Power FC is not compatible with the Supra. You'll need to get a specific one to fit the Supra (AP Engineering version), these are a lot more expensive.
