SuperSupra
When Mr Government decides to take £44 or however much it is this year of my hard earned cash just to tell me my car's worthy to use this country's stinking, gatso ridden roads. One question: Does anyone know (and yes I realise I can ring around but thought I'd ask first) an MOT place anywhere round Chester/Crewe/Nantwich/Northwich kind of area that will pass my car without a rear fog? I managed to blag it last year and no doubt there are tighter regulations this year but surely it's possible to get it through still? I can't be bothered faffing about fitting one so want to take the lazy option

cookci
or you can make use of the offside reverse light with a red bulb?
RobSheffield
MOT doesnt 'allow you to drive on the road' thats tax. MOT says its roadworthy to drive if you have tax sorry, felt you needed to know that

SuperSupra
Take it to the same place as before mate I thought of this, but if it's the same guy then he'll know I ignored him when he said last year "To be honest mate this car should have a rear fog light but as far as I'm concerned it had one when it came in . But make sure you get one asap." - oops.......
SuperSupra
or you can make use of the offside reverse light with a red bulb? Possibility I guess but it'd still be a faff (considering how lazy I am) as it would need a switch.
