oh my god what have i done.

hi all. i recently bought my black supra about a month ago now. and decided to get some touch up paint for the stone chips. so i went under the bonnet to get the paint code and to my horror there was no vin plate can any1 tell me what to do lol am in shock. how many colours of black did they do the supra in and is it possible for someone to tell me the paint code of there black supra please pretty please

course i am rob am bricking it:( did a hpi check on the car and everything seems fine. but no vin. what the dilly:blink:

But if it is a front end that required the VIN plate removing, why not replace it

I would get an independant engineer to check it for peace of mind, for structural integrity and straightness

The last thing you want with any car is for it to have a wobbly chassis, especially with one as powerful as a Supra

Or one that now has a new identity.

but everythings right on the hpi check. no bangs no nothing. everything up2 date. could that be wrong then. i know its imported. could it have come off whilst being shiped over for ant reason:blink:

there is a stamp on the bulkhead like the guys said before.

Open the bonnet and somewhere near the wiper motors is a metal upright section that should have a big assed number cut into it. If its a robbed motor the one its now pretending to be wont fail a HPI chap.

just checked now and the vin number is there. so really i should do another check and also give them the vin number to. then that will confirm weather the cars dodgy

well is it the same as the one on the v5 then?

hi mate just checked the number thats ingraved under the wipers and its the same as the vin on my v5. think i'm ok or am?

If its the same as the one on the V5 and you had it HPI'd then you'll be fine.

Talk to Toyota about getting a new one?
