mot passed/no cats

I was slightly concerned this time, as the MOT guy told me last year that the new computerised system would mean it would need the cats in next year.

But I took it to the same place this week. The previous guy had left and the new tester phoned me to say he couldn't get it to pass the emissions test. I just said "put it through on the non-cat test as it's an import" and he said "oh, alright then". easy-peasy :D

Best thing is to get it done at a MOT friendly place. I know a proper dogy garage, and to be honest I would never let them do any work on a supra. But they have done plenty for me in the past and they have let numerous mots pass for me. Especially for annoying stuff like bulbs and stuff. Just let me know and tell me to sort it. :D

I have no doubt that they will care about an emmisions test
